Materails are included Rice 250 kG ,Potato 100 Kg, Dal 25 Kg, Onion 100 Kg, Soap 100 Pcs, Sugar 25 Kg, Milk 25 Litre , Sweet bread & Noodles 50 package ,Tooth pest & Tooth Brush 100 pics, Sanitary Kits 25 Pics in each package . Upazilla Nirbahi officer ,Islampur , Upazilla Vice Chairman –Islampur and Upazilla Social Services officer under DSS and Proships officials are present in the distribution program.
We are interest to work with you as a partnership for development and increasing living condition of children with Disabilities.We are sharing about Corona Virus COVID-19 pandemic of Adolescent girls with disabilities and their families has caused devastation across with our Bangladesh. Our country were shutting transportation, market Place and declare keeping quarantines, economies have taken a huge hit. This has just begun to unfold in Bangladesh and the job losses are many peoples, especially among the daily wage workers. In this time of distress, save the livelihood of 500 moderate and severely physically challenged adolescent girls families and Children with Disabilities families during CORONA VIRUS.
COVID -19 pandemic time Our Project areas of Jamalpur district and the job losses are everywhere. Hence the above mention challenged Adolescent girls and girl Children families are without any Job security. Our Beneficiaries are high risk that many people comes from abroad in the community Beside Disable Person has Less Immunity power than other people and those families’ members are not aware about Corona Virus COVID-19. COVID-19 is now in Bangladesh have Positive cases and died and its increasing day by day.
Beside Children and Adolescent with disabilities, families are most at risk of suffering devastating losses from COVID-19. Children & Adolescents with disabilities have immediate concerns about food now because most of them are from poor family and the bread earners have no income now.
The government and some private organization providing food support but lack of information and inaccessibility they cannot always receive the support. The Government is fully aware about this and trying to improve this situation . With limited resources ,it is very difficult for the government alone to achieve of success up to desired level. As such ,it has become a responsibility of all both the sectors to cope up with issues and to build a happy and prosperous Bangladesh. They have acquired their basic living needs for survival so If you think about the SDG theme Leave no One behind, should be address the most vulnerable girls Children & adolescents girls with disabilities in the rural Community.
